Las luces Ethernet no están encendidas cuando el cable está conectado y no funciona

Tengo dos sistemas operativos y el segundo sistema operativo se conecta a Internet fácilmente, por lo que no es un problema de hardware.

ACTUALIZACIÓN 2

Mi computadora portátil tiene un problema, así que conecto una computadora portátil a una PC (en lugar de una computadora portátil a un módem ADSL) por ahora todo está bien. Pero, ¿cómo puedo conectar la computadora portátil al módem ADSL? Este problema está relacionado con Ubuntu porque verifico varias veces en Windows 8 y no tengo ningún problema. Reinicio el enrutador de módem ADSL pero aún tengo el mismo problema.

Puedo detectar Ethernet por una vez y todos pensaron que estaba bien, pero cuando reinicio todavía tengo el mismo problema. Debe ser un comando para solucionar este problema 🙁
